New Car Average Price: Unaffordable
April 3, 2014
On March 12, a study by the website Interest.com was released showing that a new car (average price $32,086) was unaffordable by most households in 24 of the 25 largest markets in the United States. Washington, DC was the one market with new car affordability. But even here, the household income needed to meet that standard was $76,000 per year.
At CarSmart, we have a better idea. Why buy a new car when, at CarSmart, we can sell you a quality, low mileage, late model car for half the new car price. We can sell you a $50,000 or $35,000 car, but why? We sell close to 100 cars per month for prices principally ranging from $15,000 to $25,000. These are 2013 and 2014 pre-owned cars with very low mileage, sometimes less than 5,000 miles. We have the inventory, the financing, the experience and the service to put you in a car you will never regret owning. We also lease cars and, of course, have a few cars both under and over the usual price range.
Come by and see us. Check our specials, view our inventory and drive out in the best used car you’ve ever owned.
